I Hear In My Mind All Of This Music

I love movies. And I love music.

And you know what else I love?
When you're watching a movie or listening to a song, and you hear some words that make you think WHOA. HOW DOES THIS PERSON UNDERSTAND EXACTLY WHAT IS HAPPENING IN MY BRAIN RIGHT NOW??

Because sometimes... the stuff that goes on in my brain seems pretty nuts. I get pretty crazy sometimes... if I jiggle my head around enough you can hear the marbles rolling around the bits of my thought processes that still even make sense.
Or, sometimes (and this is my favorite!) I don't even know what I'm feeling- it's just a big mess of [blllleeeeehhhhh!] sloshin' around up there... and then I hear a song and it's like BAM!
Ohhhh. That's what I feel!

It's splendid.

Here's just a few of my favorite movie lines/song lyrics that have, at some point in my life or another, been exactly what I was feeling (which I often post on my twitter).

"Give me nights of solitude, red wine just a glass or two, reclined in a hammock on a balmy evening" -Brooke Fraser

"When the world has fallen out from under me, I'll be found in You, still standing" - Brooke Fraser

"I hate it when you make me laugh- even worse than when you make me cry. I hate it that you're not around. And the fact that you didn't call. But mostly I hate the way I don't hate you - not even close, not even a little bit, not any at all." - 10 Things I Hate About You

"Ohana means family. Family means nobody gets left behind... or forgotten." -Lilo and Stitch

"We can plan for a change in weather or time, but I never planned on you changing your mind." -Taylor Swift (She just knows her stuff, this one!)

"I could wait patiently but I really wish you would drop everything now, meet in the pouring rain" -Taylor Swift

"Don't be afraid to fall in love. It's the only thing that matters in life, so you just fall in love with as many things as possible." -Country Strong

"You stay the same through the ages, Your love never changes, there may be pain in the night but joy comes in the morning" - Jesus Culture

"Ain't no rhyme or reason no complicated meaning, ain't no need to over think it, let go laughing; Life don't go quite like you planned it, we try so hard to understand it but the irrefutable, indisputable fact is... it happens" -Sugarland

What's the song that your heart's been singing lately?
